Treatments Provided

Medication Management – Medications may be a critical component of alleviating pain and are an important part of integrative care.

Neuromechanical Therapy is the world’s first integrative therapy developed exclusively to fight pain. The theoretical underpinnings of this therapy are based on sound medicine, firmly grounded in the concepts of acupuncture, modern neurology, microcurrent stimulation and myofascial release (muscular relaxation) techniques. The treatment combines the principles of acupuncture and trigger-point injections with electro-stimulation that safely detects specific treatment points on the surface of your skin, then applies concentrated micro-stimulation to motor, trigger and acupoints for a fast, intensified healing response. Sessions are done typically in one region at a time to treat areas of pain.

Therapy – The application of various techniques to the muscular structure and soft tissues of the human body has been proven beneficial for many chronic conditions, including lower back pain, arthritis, bursitis, depression, and more. Therapy helps relieve the stress and tension of everyday living that can further aggravate a painful condition. Experts estimate that upwards of 90 percent of disease is stress-related.

Injection Therapy – Trigger-point injections are injections of local anesthetic (numbing) medication, saline, or cortisone into the trigger point(s). The basis for a trigger-point injection is to relax the area of intense muscle spasms. By relaxing the muscle spasm, blood flow to the area is improved, thus allowing the washout of irritating metabolites and alleviation of pain.
